New scholarships!

Martha Wangari has joined Tumutumu Girls High School in Central Province of Kenya. We thank our friends John & Cindy from Tonganoxie, KS for making this possible. John & Cindy visited Kenya in 2005.They want to keep their connection to Kenya by giving Martha an opportunity for a better future! What a Blessing. Martha previously benefited from a scholarship from Bill & Judy who met her in Kenya in 2001 when she was still in grade school. Her life and that of her family has been forever changed by this gesture of love.

With the help of friends of RHI, Francis Nganga has joined Leshau Seconday School.Francis passed very well in his grade 8 exams but would not have gone to secondary school without financial assistance. His parents are too poor to afford. We want to thank the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship in Topeka, KS for their donation towards this cause.

Felista Otieno and Evans Otieno have benefited from the generosity of Pastor Jesse Hunter and the congregation of The Community Church of God in Lawrence KS. Felista and Evans were orphaned when their parents died of HIV/AID. They are 2 of 11 children who were left under the care of their 25 year old sister Lucy. We thank God that they will be able to continue with their education and make a difference in their lives and that of their family.

James Mangara has received support for year 2006. He is currently attending Utumishi Academy in Nyahururu. (picture will be posted when available)
